Germany is perhaps the best known Riesling producing country but Riesling generally grows well in cooler climates such as northwestern Italy, Austria and the Alsace. Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks, this dry Riesling has flavors and aromas of pear, pineapple, dates and a hint of nutmeg. Drinks nicely on its own or with soft cheeses, spicy Asian inspired dishes or pork loin with fruit sauce.
