100% Mencia, 90% 50-year-old vines from the Amandi sub-region and 10% from 40 year old vines in Ribeiras do Miño. Mencía, known as Jaen in Portugal, is a grape native to the Iberian Peninsula and is exclusively grown there, mostly in northwestern Spain. Medium to full bodied with flavors and aromas of black raspberries, espresso with notes of pepper and smoke. Pairs well with beef, cured meats, duck, BBQ anything and sharp cheeses.
